The only way I could get mine .. was to take my car to the *stealership* and write the serial# down
took it in, and showed the guy that I indeed owned it, and they gave me the code ...

Problem is .. I forgot where I put it, and about 3 weeks ago, I needed a new battery ...
When I got back in the car ... I was like ...
But I was messing around my computer desk, and found it on a piece a paper ...
Whew ... I was pretty bummed ... so now I keep it in a safe place in my ...

haha, i needed the anti-theft code. I called the honda dealership and they said they will get it for $80. I chuckled and just installed my aftermarket deck. I think that if you don't have the code or serial number, like I didnt, then they have to remove the radio and get it from the back there. I'm ASSUMING that's why they said $80.

So a good idea would be to call around to see if I can get the code for free before I go an rip out the tape deck to get the serial number.

Second could I go to a import car shop and get the code? or does it have to strictly be a "Honda Deal"??

The stealership never charged me a dime ... and taking that double din CD/FM/ Tuner out
                is way easy ...

There's at least one thread about this on Honda-Tech.com. Ask HondaTechPro --- I read a thread where he'll get the code for you. You may also need to give him your VIN.
