Ok. im thinkin of puttin a secondary battery in the trunk to supply power to the amp, lcd screen(s), and power inverter. my question is, if its possible to recharge it wit the alternator. would it work by connectin the positives of the primary and seconday battery together and have the secondary direct to chasis?

You need to get yourself an isolator to isolate both batteries from each other but still allow them to evenly charge. If you don't you'll get a rediculous amount of engine noise. -

You just hook it up, It's pretty damn simple, It only has like three wires, + in, + out, and ground.
What do you mean how many amps? Current or equipment?Comment
