Is the LED for the factory alarm a 12V type (built in resistor) or a regular one with an external resistor? The LED on my 90LX is located near the shift lever, so I was thinking about adding another LED (low current type) into the blank socket for the sunroof switch by tapping into the red wire. I am not sure what voltage is present at the LED output pin of the main brain unit, it is difficult to access. Its either +5V or +12V ?

Have a pic of this LED security plate, or is it just a blank with an LED in it?

The alarms are old, but still have modern features like starter kill, keyless entry, glass breakage sensor, and etc. It even has a panic button on the remote which turns on the loud factory horn, so annoying that it will scare anyone, well at least most people.Originally posted by deckedaNo, it's a blank with a Honda LED in it!
Just teasing, I want to see it also --- I don't know anything about the old OEM CB7 alarms.
