    Buzzing

Alright...my speakers make a damn buzzing noise, but only if I turn my headlights on...so at night if i turn the speakers down all i hear is the buzz, I know the speakers and headunit arent bad, they only a few months old, and it did this before I upgraded the sound system. Is this shitty wiring somewhere or a lack of power...lack of power makes sense to me since it only does it when the lights are on in the car (if i turn the stereo off there is no buzzing either and it doesnt do it during the day). So would you guys recommend a better alternator or what? thanks.

You have a ground loop problem. I had the same problem and I ran a 10 gauge wire with a fuse straight from the battery to the constant power of the deck and ran a new ground to a clean piece of metal on the chasis. I used 10 gauge wire because I had it around but 12 or 14 gauge should do just fine. And my whining and buzzing noises stopped when I did that.

Make sure all your grounds are connected to a metal part of the car with no paint/shit on it.

you also might wanna double check to make sure that you do not have your dimmer wire crossed somewhere
