    Big Kenwood Question!!

Does anyone know where to find those kenwood in dash recievers where the control plate with all the buttons sits at an incline? Like how it's almost horizontal with the dash. Then, on the screen on the right side there is like an equalizer bubble thing. I'm sorry I can't explain it any better but if ANYONE has an idea on what I'm talking about, PLEASE let me know! I've searched everywhere and there is something I'm not getting! THANKS again!!

Those are Quite old models, I know exactly what you are talking about, they do have a problem with the ribbon cable on the control panel though. Best bet is to check out ebay.

How come kenwood doesn't make these anymore?? I saw a friend that had one and I absolutely loved the way it looked and sounded!

A word of advice when buying used kenwood head units from ebay is that if the seller says that they are selling as is ask them for the security code for the deck, all of the kenwood's i have delt with had security code and its a one time only code, you cant change it unless you get a brand new face from kenwood.

Does that universal code really work?

it bypasses any code a previous customer may have put into the radio. the code is similar that is in our cars or any other cd player which is oem or aftermarket radios, which means if it looses power, meaning battery disconnect, or theft it will ask for the code u inputed.
