    new method

this is what i did and it took like 5 mins the only tool you need is a standard screwdriver. just pry the plastic cover (very bottom left with fabric over it)off and you can pull out the speaker. i didnt beak anything and it goes right back into place tightly. i laugh reading the posts about taking off the door panel the the speaker cover comes off. i removed/installed the front speakers in walmarts parking lot in like 10 mins. on my 91 Ex 2 dr the front speakers are 4'' round and the back are 6x9"s

that isnt exactly a new method it's a known one but it applies to what model cb7 you have it doesnt work on all cb7's so what year / model do you have?

yeah that method works if you're just putting in new speakers to the factory lines off the deck. If you're amped, or if you're installing components, that door has to come off. Once you've done it once, its very easy to do again. I've probably had my doors off 10 times after robberies and upgrades.

Yea, that wouldn't work for me. I'm assuming you bought your speakers AT wal-mart?
