mtx is for NOOBS pyle now days in junk talk about pyle 15-20 years ago is was pretty decent. to the guy that is fiberglassin in the wagon u need to chamber those subs ... way better output. u wanna talk about some badd ass subs lets u you little farts talk shit about RE or Digital Designs Tc Sound MMAtts Atomic some of these companies. talk shit about those guys try to compare ur little mtx kickers and what not againist those.

mine is a work in progress that will be finished next week! i have a pair of jl 12w0's connected to a kenwood excelon 505w x1 rms amp (a little overpowered, i know ). this equipment lives in a box i made out of fiberglass and mdf. the fiberglass willl be painted laurel blue like my car and everything else will be black carpet, including the side panels which will be dyed.
just starting out
side view-sort of-so ou can see the contour of the glass, as well as the false floor that was a bitch to get in. as you can tell, its not smooth as i want it yet, so i have at least another layer or two of bondo and a lot of sanding. its a good thing i have a palm sander, but i may have to get a reciprocating sander like i used on this up at my grandpas.
showing the front panel that will be finished up and screwed on then upholstered. you can see the flap i made for the spare tire and other emergency essentials (im am an eagle scout so i am always prepared
).
i am trying to get the box to set back in further, but the emergency trunk popper is getting in the way. i am going to notch the box to get around thisand hopefully have the face behind the top of the trunk.Last edited by steelbluesleepR; 03-20-2007, 02:15 PM.
