    aiwa cdc-x227 unit

my dads accord has an aiwa cdc-x227 unit installed, and every once it a whil eit would go and skip on the slightest bumps in the road. is this a known problem?

how is it mounted...if its not mounted and it jumps of course its going to skip. is that a cd changer, or a in dash cd player?
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

does the radio or cd player lose power when u go over them or it just stops and skips. if u lose power that means there is a lose wire behind the unit some where. if the power stays on and it just skips then that means that the unit is not mounted good or its the lens reader that is messed up. how long have u had it for? if it isn't over a year old u can take it back 2 where u got it from and they should serve's it cuz it should be under mafac. warrenty.

        aiwa

its an in dash player, installed by best buy. im pretty sure its not bouncing, unless the inner portion is loose. the power doesnt shut off, it jus stops for 5 seconds, then plays agen, depending on the bump. the unit has been in since about last fall/winter.

take it back tell them u want it serviced cuz it should be under mafac. warrenty then. sounds like its the lens that is fucked up. does it do it new cd's also? get a cd that is brand spanking new and pop it in there c wat happens. if it does it with that 1 to then its the unit and send that sucker out
