    Not sure

I believe that amp was in a friend of mines prelude when he bought it and it was a 4 channel. As for the power i do not know, but we ran Alpine 5.25 type R components in the front with it for about a week before we replaced it. So that might tell you something about the power. Hope i could help.

One more thing, what color was the amp. The one i am thinking of was black (i think)

Just trying to make sure i am not misleading you.

Well it looks like it except the one i was thinking of was black, and didn't have a clear top... So i don't know.

You dont have to get the best speakers to have good sound but you if you go cheap on a Amp then your gonna hear a shitty sound. I put a fosgate on a pair of Jensen speakers and it sounded good. I once used a jensen 700 watt amp for one 12 Memphis as a temp to hold off until I got a better amp and it sounded like shit compared to the way it sounded when I finally got the Memphis amp.

spend less on the speakers cause you can always get them second hand but having a good hi output amp can make crappy speakers sound better
