i need help. my dad has this deck and he cant get it to work. it has power going everywhere except for the faceplate. how do i fix this without going and getting another deck?

Are you saying that the display does not show up? Or does it not play music?
If it is the first i would say the faceplate is gone. My sister has an Aiwa in her 91 Toyota Camry and the display went out on it. I think Aiwa just has that problem. I do not know the model on her Aiwa though sorry.Comment

The whole thing doesnt turn on. there is no power getting to the faceplate, faceplate is good. my dad has only used this head unit like 4 or 5 times cause it is in our motorhome.Comment

Hmmm...
So power is going to the deck. IE you have voltmeter verification that yes there is voltage. And if so how much?
Only other thing i can think of is the ground is bad. Try a new ground and check wiring... I guess.
Sorry i can't be of more help. Any other information would be nice. Like did it work then stop working, that kind of thing.Comment
