    CRAZY Feedback

yeah, so I wired up my two 12s today (JL W3 and a rockford [not sure of model]) to my 1600 watt. I ran my power down the passenger side, and my RCAs/Bass Remote wire down the driver's side. Sooo, I turn on my car and before the head unit even boots up the subs jus start pounding with feedback. This only happens when the car in running, not when it is just on. It's so bad I had to unplug my subs until I could find a fix for it. I mounted my ground underneath the trunk latch. I can't figure out why I am getting all this feedback, all the wires are on seperate sides of the car. Could it have to do with the length of my ground(around 2 1/2 feet)? A friend told me I could get feedback through my ground if it was too long, anybody have any proof of this?

          Ignorance

but yeah, I want my subs to only pound when the beat hits, not when I push the gas It sounds like I have an exhaust from inside the car.

I sanded down a spot on the trunk to fix the grounding problem, so I'm guessing the problem is with the RCAs. I checked the whole car and they aren't crimped in any part, I even took out the remote wire to see if that was the problem. Anybody know what else it could be?

From what you discribed sounds like a bad ground or there is interfearance near your RCA's
