Factory Installation Manual -single cd player

Does anyone have or know of anyone that could post, email, or scan the complete Honda OEM instructions for the optional Alpine single disc cd player?

    p/n#: 08A06-121-210
    ref#: CD2102

This uses the following bracket (same as with the optional cd changer controller & 7 band eq):
    p/n#:08B10-SM4-100
    bracket used:

pics (showing with an EX HU):

front of unit: front of unit:
back of unit: back of unit:

I've had issues in the past removing the driver's side 8mm screw. I recall having to remove the dash trim to gain access to that side, which I did not think I had to do.

    Thank you for reading.

If you are talking about removing the radio.. You either have to reach or have a tool to get behind the radio and get both security bolts... Or you have to pull the center console and get it that way...

if you remove the ash tray and the metal hanger it slides into, you can get to both of the bolts from underneath. they are 8mm hex phillips head bolts.

Yes I intend to remove the center console, ashtray & metal hanger as would be done with the OEM HU with the bracket for the pocket--as noted in this DIY: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43624
That's the bracket most people have with the 2 8mm hex bolts as shown.

With the gold brackets for the cd/hu combo, there are 3 instead of 2 as above, which I have no problem removing as see in bracket A:

But, where bracket C connects to bracket B , there are 2 additional screws that are not accessible behind the ash tray--they are further up and off to the sides. I recall having clearance on the pass. side, but not the driver's side without removing the dash trim. I believe the images above are from the OEM manual, but I was looking for it complete.

If you know what I mean, is there a special tool to get that without trim removal?

        Thanks.

More pics for reference & understading that I pulled from other places:

          Top View:
The 2 bolts on bracket C (back of cd) go into bracket B (the angled ones I am having issues with).

After re-reviewing this, I noted if you squish your head near the pedals and position yourself just right you can see the driver's side 8mm bolt. I believe its the SRS wiring that gets in the way on that side.

So I got it out and swapped the HU but now I'm having issues getting them all the way back in (so much extra cords/plugs between them). So, I've decided to call in some help and see if the dealer can stuff them in successfully.

This was obvious a design afterthought by Honda, as all subsquent models aren't this difficult when having cd/tape/radio.

Dealer was able to do this but they had plently of difficulty along the way. Now they understand why I was having issues.

Summary: Those 2 8mm hex bolts that are angled to the sides (bracket C) that hold the HU/CD together can be removed without taking off the dash trim, installation is the reverse, but painful.

Summary P.S.: For reference, the same bracket is used for the OEM 7-band EQ and the OEM CD changer controller. (all Alpine).
