    which battery?

ok my car needs a new battery obviously optima was my first choice. anything out there better? if not which optima should i go with red top?yellow top? the car wont have any audio stuff or anything like that in it just wondering what would be the best route to go.

Depends on how much your willing to spend.....I personally could only afford 90 bux when I needed a new battery when mine died....So i bought the cheapest one I could find....and it hasnt failed me yet and its been 2 years.....Maybe Im a lucky one though.

go for the optima red. it's the cheapest. the yellow is if you have more stuff (i.e. audio, lighting. etc)

yeah i thought the yellow was for extra stuff so i guess ill go with the red then cause the car is pretty much going to be four wheels and a motor

If you're not running audio, etc... then a Diehard or Everstart should be just fine.

optima yellow top is great for audio, lighting and whatnot. we used that in our SPL competition build and was amazing how much power it gave us

                  x2

Even if you run lots of equipment, then I still wouldn't go with optima. Optima isn't good like they use to be. I turn to Odyssey batteries if I ever have the demands.

When I asked this ame question pretty much everywhere, the advice that I recieved was an Interstate battery. So that's what I have. Some research has proved that they are very reliable.
