Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

A header. If you have a Lx or Dx then go to the local junkyard and pickup a EX header. it's a 4-2-1 design that's pretty hard to miss. If you have a EX then you already have a decent header.

After that comes the cam upgrade. you can get a "delta regrind" for a decent price and make a bit more power. but you MUST get the car tuned after you install the cams.

Your best bet is to research, research and research. these forums have ALOT of infomation. Look up bisimoto. They are doing great things with our car's stock f22's

i bisimoto is a cool company with our motor and all but they're kind of on the expensive side. good products with plenty of R&D behind the parts tho.

like he said. cam regrind, get your TB bored out by maxbore.com and get your IM ported and polished. with a p06 ECU, you can get it tuned and squeeze a few extra horses out of those upgrades.

if you want mor HP then on to head and block work

A header and Delta 272 regrind would really make your car come to life.

I gained over 30whp at redline with the Delta 272 cam and a good tune. Untuned it still made almost 20whp from 5000rpm to redline. It's by far the best mod I've ever done and it will cost you less that $150 with new cam seal and valve cover gasket, if you do the install yourself.
