    Cars idle being retarded.

After my 5 speed swap, once I had changed my ecu and all, it started having an idle that goes up and down.

IT was giving me the code of iacv but now its throwing vss which, I know isn't working, (duh)

So, I have cleaned my iacv twice now

Oh yeah I also adjusted my throttle cable a little

Tried resetting ecu many times too.

So any suggestions? It worked before just fine
Meh, not feeling the honda game anymore.

Yes possible try cleaning out the EGR valve and the FITV, here is a DIY on how to do so, and also explains how to clean the IACV, hope this helps.

            Yep.

I was gonna try auto ecu, but no time.

Before anything ill try auto ecu, but i dunno if ecu is the issue.

Also got headers and downpipe but I doubt that'd change it.

                      nevermind XD

Sorry my temper get the best of me.

I have fixed my idle issue, a yellow plug, with a relay, the relay had fallen out.

After pluggin in the relay, the car stopped acting erratic and fixed its idle

It must've fallen from the cc unit removal

But now I have clean engine components nonetheless

Thanks everyone, Hopefully in the future this reference can be of some use.

Haha now people won't be staring at my car like it's on an acid trip.

Edit: After I rev engine it surges...

I had started it in driveway which kept it stable.

The check engine light code says IACV, i'm just not sure what could go wrong with it?

                        Should I replace it?

Before the 5 speed swap as said idle was fine, so I dunno. I changed ecu, and it still surged.

eh the IACV is a little bitch, I cleaned it the other day and then if I pressed the pedal the slightest bit t would bog to like 400 rpm. Then the next day it was fine.
                          wat?
