From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

rear engine mount removal ....

well first off if you have a manual tranny the rear mount is cheaper to buy, but both auto and manual rear mounts suck if ya not familiar. the easiest way i have found is to just remove the intake manifold, that will leave you plenty of room to work and remove the mount. than just replace the intake manifold gasket and reinstall.its not hard takes me about an hour tops. people have done it by jacking up the engine a bit and getting under the car removing the down pipe, but its just more work and much harder that way.also takes up more time. so if i were you i would buy the rear mount, and a intake manifold gasket, and do it that way.good luck.oh ya rear mounts are not prone to fail on our cars.if its not cracked or failing leave it alone.good luck.
