    OBX Oil Pan

I just got an OBX oil pan for my H22. The fitment is terrible. Seems that you must drill out the holes? Also, there are about 6 bolts coming out of the block to hold the oil pan on, but they are too short due to the thicker flange. Anybody have any ideas on how to get fix this? I think I might just return it (if I can). I don't really need it yet (performance-wise), just had to replace the dented stock one. Thanks in advance.

Besides the flange being thicker than the 6 stock studs coming from the block end, what else is wrong fitment wise? I'm just curious.

Another example of aftermarket crap. Have to massage things to get them to work, as always.

More often than not, a dented oil pan is worse than a cracked one. The dented one will make it ALOT harder on your oil pickup/oil pump because it displaces the natural pool of oil which could put harmful strain on your motor.

Trust me I know..I lost a motor to this last year.

My bad fellas. I just misplaced the hardware. I found it.

The fitment sucked because I had to drill out 2 of the holes because they didn't line up (and I didn't have the right size drill bit to make it easy.

The oil pan had to be replaced. It was dented so bad that it was causing massive leaks that the gasket wasn't able to stop.

You know what? You're right. I guess I'm really bad at lining up holes. What would I do without you TypeG? Maybe you should do a DIY on how to line up holes for me. Thanks buddy.
