Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

will the GSR cams work with our motor or what not???

Eeh...GSR has dual cams and it wouldn't work on our single cam F22s. If you're talking H22/H23, F20b, F20a ,etc I dunno.

Most likely not, GSR's rev much higher than we do, and the cam profile controls how long the valves will lift and stay open. The block and the ecu would probably be like wtf

        No they wouldnt. Too different.

Why does everybody thing GSR's are so great? They dont make any torque, and are actually pretty slow.

Dont know how much this will help, but:

              According to AEM,
              B18B & H23 =same
              B16, B18, & H22A = same

again this is according to AEM instructions on cam gears.

That's for cam gears tho, not cams.

                Edit:

B series engines have an 81mm bore, H series has an 87mm bore... the bore spacing is going to be different, meaning H series cams are physically LONGER than B series cams.
