Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    how do i get tha deepest exhaust sound possible?

          Get the longest and biggest reasonator and muffler. Thats what i done to my turbo car, and u cant even hear it on, untill i get on it, then it has a deep loud tone.

            a quality catback would be your best bet. one with good reviews by people on this board

              well i have a magnaflow dual exhaust and it is a pretty deep sounding exhaust!
              i recomend it

                X2 on the resonator, from the cat, to rite b4 the 1st bend, u can put a long ass res there, and from the 1st bend to the muffler is reg pipin.

                    Sound comes from the turbo

                    Best exhaust on a 4 banger IMO is a stockish muffler... otherwise you get flatulence. Better to open up the intake

                      Turbo dont make the sound it dampens it more. BUT it doesnt what u have, a bigger and longer muffler and resonator, makes the exhaust sound deeper.

                          I should have elaborated... turbo cars sound way different than N/A cars even w/the same engine for reasons you said... the turbo is a muffler
