Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Check your needles, perhaps they're pushed on too tight, misaligned

      the needles...

The needles are permanently attached if you removed them you lose...
They cannot be mis aligned unless you changed something on the inductor that moves them (i.e. added more wire or took some off).

Did you remove the gages from the cluster (removed the three brass screws that attach them to the circuit)?

If you did my guess is that you over tightened one or all of the screws on the temperature gage. This completely messes up the gage, and as far as I can tell is un-fixable. (I am working on one that had this issue now)

My next question is what is the make of your cluster. (yes they have different makes)

Is it seiko or denzo (to find out look below the speedo and find ether an NS or an ND) NS = seiko, ND = denzo

I had my issue with a seiko, so if yours is too then maybe they are just not happy after removed

If you have any other questions of information post it up there seems to be a few people having the temp gage issues.
