From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    CF powerchamber intake? (passwordjdm.com)

I've been wanting a CF Powerchamber intake from Password JDM. Of course they don't make one for the CB7. Does anyone know which would or could fit? I was thinking about the EG/EK intake or the DC2. Anyone ever tried to fit one of these?

Or if anyone knows somewhere else to find one for a better price or fitment

are you getting it just for looks? 3inch intake piping with a BPi velocity stack at the end is dyno proven to make more power.

Eh, i dunno. Mostly for looks because I see no other reason for these.

Would the shape have any added benefit over my AEM short air intake?

No it makes noticable gains. I can vouch for that.

password jdm intake is supposed to be really smooth on the inside, promoting air flow. as well as the design of the chamber forcing air into the IM.

I use to have one on my 2000 Civic Si. I liked it at first. Small gains, and it looked really cool. The only downside is this thing is really really loud, i mean louder than a nornal SRI. After about 6 months I got tired of it and took it off and sold it for a profit. IMO it is not worth the money. They have gone up in price due to the price of carbon fiber has gone up.. They use to be $150 shipped. Now I think they are $199 plus shipping.

I found an Iceman thermoplastic intake off a 2001 prelude that fits w/ a minor shoving of the batt. tray to the right. Suprisingly the filter isn't getting squashed or anything. Plus this intake is made outta plastic, so it doesn't heat soak as much as a metal one does. It also tapers down from like 3 or 3.5 inches at the filter, to the diameter of the throttle body to increase the velocity of the air.

I saw this in your members ride thread. It looks great! Good find. I wish I could find one of these used for cheap. I don't think Iceman is in buisness anymore.
