Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Personally I have Boost, A/F, and Oil.

These three are very VERY important. You obviously want to monitor your boost levels, and you got the wide band O2 sensor so you want to watch that one too.

My reason for oil pressure is this. You already have a coolant temp sensor. It works pretty dang well if you ask me. When you see that gauge go up to "H" then you pull over and stop. But if you have periodic oil pressure loss..... You could be up the creek without a paddle.

I watch my gauge and not only does it tell me I make about 20 psi for every 1000 RPM, but doing 5K RPM, my gauge tops out and the pressure release valve opens and adjusts. IF I were doing 5K RPM and I saw I was only making around 40 psi and the release valve didn't actuate, I know somethings wrong.

So there you have it. Boost, A/F, and Oil. Good luck

No need for a turbo timer.

Oil temp...well I'm sure one of the other gauges would show something wrong if you're oil was dangerously hot.

Because it only takes 30 seconds of you sitting in the car to be fine.

That, or just don't get on it when you know you're going to have to turn off your car soon.
