Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I'd recommend reading HondaFan's white car build

    http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=26368

a little ways down he talks about the port and polished work of a company that he went with.

I agree, I was thinking about having a pnp done to my spare head. But I think I'll just go with the 3 angle valve job for my pocket's sake. I know that I will see next to nothing in gains - I just figure if I have the head, I might as well have the experience of mildly building it and throwing it on.

does a standard pnp only include the intake and exhaust ports? I was reading last night that a lot of people grind the valves down a little as well to prevent air drag.

Wrong, hand-ported by Jeff at CHR Motorsports (www.chrracingproducts.com).

I used him on both red and white projects. However, the red was the first F22ax NA head he did. Since then, he has greatly improved and the white is the best work he has done yet. He has excellent customer service and turn-around time. He can even port and portmatch your intake manifold to your head, if you ship that all to him. Also, he pays for your return shipping, so you save.

Ship him the head with no camshaft or rocker arm assy, just the valvetrain install.

I think you may be referring to grinding of the valve guides, not valves themselves. If so, you only want the tips rounded, nothing more as at higher RPMs you will have valve instability.

Refer to the first pages of my white and red Accord thread to see CHR Motorsports before and after air flow results on his portwork.

I do not have dyno gains based on portwork of head alone, as on both projects I installed everything at once, that's how I do things.
