Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Trans?

I have an f22b1 in my cb (dont flame it'll just piss me off)anyway the motor is great, but im using my old tranny which is crapping out on me so what i'am asking is which tranny should i use the h22 or the f22b1 tranny. I know that h22 has shorter gearing which i want but i also heared that f22b1 has shorter gearing then our stock tranny but not as short as the h22 is that true just wondering

You could also use an H23 transmission, when I get back from work I will look up the gear ratios, there somewhere on the forum.

I just changed over from the f22 to the h23 tranny. Its still a little short sometimes when im tryin to save a little gas.
      .
3rd and 4th are alot more fun, so im happy with it.

the B1 is really damn close to a F22ax that you would find in a CB...4th gear is just a hair shorter...nothing you would really notice

If you want peppier driving then get a shorter gear'd tranny, but if you commute alot and like the highway drive/concerned about gas, then stay F series.
