Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Aside from measuring them with calipers,

              http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=522882

I was informed buy searching via the web and stumbled onto http://www.preludeonline.com/s...85279. In the thread on this board it indicates that to identify type S cams there is J and K on intake cam, and J and W on exhaust cam. Also noted that type-s cams also have a blue tint on the lobes.

When I was speaking with the reps @ Hmotorsonline...he indicated that the Type S cams had Part# P5P on them. Not sure if this helps.

Im not sure how reliable this is, but this is what i've found on honda-tech a while back ago. Hope this helps.

                  hey jonas

type s cams are very easy to notice

they are the only cams that came w a blue tint, because they were made from magnesium to decrease the weight on the valvetrain

u'll see they look like they been bathed in blue juice

Yup the Type S cams have the bluish tint, also the F20B cams are the same as type S cams.

I believe the regular H22 cam is marked P5M
