Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Hybrid Transmission

I don't know if it's been brought up before and I have no clue what I would search for, so I am making a new thread.

I was thinking about what I wanted the purpose of my car to eventually be, and I came up with a fair weather DD (as in no winter or rain) that will hold it's own at the track. I plan on running a turbo H23. And I was trying to decide what transmission would be better to go with. I know the F22 would be the best for DD and the H22 would be the best for the track and the H23 would meet somewhere in between. But I was wondering if you could swap the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears from the H22, 4th and 5th gears from the F22, and the F22 final drive, and put this all in the H23 trans housing. I'm just tossing ideas around in my head at this point, and this is one to come out.

If I were you Id just use the f22a 5th. If your making enough power, having the long f22a gears might help you hook better.
