From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    I've got a 1 compound word for you: McMaster-Carr

Check out some of the DIY's on here, you can mod the stock mounts, even torn ones, for next to nothing. Just need some downtime or an extra set, that's all.

Sure, torn & old mounts are fine. I've personally seen a window welded torque mount, and the weld was filled all at once, which means it was rushed, and it came out super soft, which is not cool. I've had great success w/ the mcmaster carr urethanes, the 60A and 94A to be exact.

Since I guess the window weld can be had locally, I guess clean the mounts up good and don't rush it is all I can suggest.

Mine are all filled... They are softer then the oem material but they fill in the gaps and only add. So they stiffened it up pretty well. Prep is key.
