Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Cool intake

I was looking around for a replacement short ram intake and I came across this at autozone.

apparently you can piece together your own intake. Like you need buy 4 separate parts but you can basically choose how you want the pipe to bend.

What do you guys think about this?

It'll work fine. Just make sure the seals between each pipe are good (no leaks), and use a quality filter (e.g: K&N, AEM, etc).

just buy my CAI i have for sale, lol it'll be way better for pretty much the same price I'm thinking. Piecing an intake together sounds like a lot of money.

man, my buddy did this to his old junky corolla lol, he actually ruted it to the bottom of the engine bay and made a CAI, and he notced a little gain, but i guess on a corolla any gain is a good gain lol
