Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

i got 500 bucks to kill. Whats the best use of it to make my car faster? i got a 93 accord 4dr 5speed manuel. Everything is stock. Plus, i don't go much for looks or sound, just power is what i want.

Unfortunately 500 isn't going to get you too far. You could have a exhaust system made at a local muffler shop and then with the remaining money buy a good intake system, and header. If you need any parts let me know. Feel free to visit my company website: www.fushigiraceengineering.com .

cough cough PLUG above me, COUGH COUuGH. LOL.

500, well if you want the most hp/dollar=NOSSSSSSS (nitrous for non-riceRs). You could spray a nice 75 shot without any other modification.

Otherwise, bolt ons are $$$$$ and not as much HP gains as nitrous.

Duh...Get your camshaft reground by Delta...that's a legit maybe 10-20HP for $85 and the cost of another camshaft; get a cone filter to put on your stock intake tubing; get an OBX header...that's another ~$200; then wrap it up with a custom exhaust. In NYC I think I can get a catback pipe for $75, and a decent muffler will be the same...so all in all that's like $435+the cost of a cam, which will be free if you don't mind having your car off the road for a while, and it should be good for at least 20HP, which is a decent amount.

Screw the whole cone filter idea. You can get a decent CAI off of ebay for like 30-40 bucks. I/H/E, and cam is a good combo though, and if you don't want nitrous it's what I would recommend also.

That was me by the way...anyways what i was getting at is he doesn't have any kind of a plan of what he wants to do so maybe little inexpensive projects could hold him off while he plans things out. Little mods add up...and i bet u have most all little mods mentioned don't cha

To the thread starter i'd say take ur time pick one way to make power and stick to it...just take alot of time and research thoroughly. Your knowledge and expertise will show in your setup...till then its ok to be slow for awhile
