    Power Pulleys

How many of you have power pulleys on your H22 motors? I think I am going to hook up my power steering again before I go back down to Florida, but the pulley on the pump has a chunk missing, so I bought an Accord pulley for $5 from a friend but it won't fit right and the belt will be too loose. So, I am just going to go with some power pulleys cuz I have some extra cash to spend on the engine.

What do you all think abou the AEM Tru-Power Pulleys? Should I go with them or a different kind?

I know they aren't too hard to install since I had to put all the belts and stuff on the H22, but would you all go with AEM or a different brand?

    Thanks!

Well I don't have a h22, but I have the pulleys. I have UR pulleys though, and I would recommend them over AEM.

i just installed a set on a 98 civic that was at the shop. came out really nice, great fit and finish, not sure how the car drove before then because i had to swap motors, but they werent alot lighter than the previous ones, because they were much bigger. idk how that makes a difference. all in all i would say go for it. power steering rules, that is why we drive accords isnt it????

yeh unorthodox racing has an entire pulley kit. granted it may be alittle more than what you want to spend but if you get the entire set it will make a noticeable difference for ya.

Now, be careful buying that kit if you have swapped a H22. Make sure you get the correct pulleys for what ever accessories you are using.

the honda kit is super generic from aem. its all honda 90-97 and fits mitsubishi also.it was weird, only came with power steering and altenator pulleys.

I'll probably go with the UR kit, since it's got the crank pulley, power steering and alternator.

It's a bit pricey but in the long run I bet it will be worth it.

It's definitely worth it. The quality is top notch, and the pulleys look awesome.

How much did you pay for your Unorthodox kit? Did you get all 3 or just the top 2? I'll probably get the crank pulley, power steering, and alternator kit isntead of just the 2 upper.

They are kinda expensive, but I guess I'll just have to save. A buddy of my friend fucked his AEM ones up and got UR and they are just fine. So thats more support towards them!

I need to sell some stuff, then I will be able to get them.

Do they come with the belts, or do I have to purchase my own?

You have to get your own belts, but they tell you the part numbers you need. The only problem I had is that on one of the pulleys my stock belt fit, and the one they recommended didn't fit.
