Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

N/A H22 cams on a stock valvetrain facts and opinions welcome

Alright, I was looking to buy N/A cams for a while now, being on a tight budget I do not want to completely upgrade the valvetrain. I want previous experience with various cams with a stock valvetrain and dyno charts if possible.

The assumption is all possible basic bolt ons are installed (Inake/exhaust/header)

Im currently making 190.95whp and I forgot the torque lol 150 something ft/lbs I just posted my dyno sheet in a different thread >_<

Anyway ive been doing some research and heres what Ive got for skunk2 pro 1 on a stock valvetrain

    http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2116043

The dyno charts posted from Nirvtec are from the same shop I go to for my tuning.

Im already only 3-5whp away from some of those figures, I was told by them that I had one of the best near stock tunes they had ever done with an h22.

Anyway will I see greater gains with my healthier/beastlier motor? 12-14whp is the average I'd assume id be breaking 200whp, right?

Anyone have any other info on other stage 1 cams, please post also.

From what I've been told when you have stage one cam setup you don't need to upgrade your valvetrain but it's recomended, now when you go to stage 2 or 3 cam shafts then you will have to upgrade your valvetrain.
