Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    engine no start please help me!

    ok i got a 93 accord 5 speed i just finshed bilding the engine its got allmost new eveything and its not starting for me!

    all the engine does is rotate like its going to start but doesnt

    i have checked to see if i have spark............. and i do

    i have checked to see if i have fuel going to the fuel rail ............and i do

    i checked the fireing order ..... it right too

    im geting so mad at that car right now i want to burn it to the ground

    please someone help me

    i want to hear that engine run so bad!

      did you add anything new that wasnt there before, or move anything like the MAP sensor placement?

      does the engine start then die right away.

              make sure you have fuel pressure, not just fuel, and make sure that pressure is while cranking

              it could be something as simple as a main relay

              get a spark tester and make sure you have good spark throughout cranking, not just some spark.

              and make sure you're distro isn't 180 off, like they said, i've done it before...

                maybe the plug wires are 180, put 1 where 4 is and so on, did it on my old accord, sounded like it wanted to start but wouldn't
