Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Prospeed header

I am interested in buying a header for my h22a and wanted some feedback from some of you peeps. I was reading on http://www.prospeedpower.com/ about their headers. i am curious to know what is the difference between a merged collector and a stamped collector? i have heard that this header is kinda the "best-of-both-worlds" header. alot cheaper than an SMSP but more than a DC...obviously. and more power gains than the DC but less than the SMSP. kinda the get what you pay for deal. anyway, let me know what you all think. and please, what is the difference in collectors? also, it says for 92+ accords but why would it not fit on a 90? thanks in advance, sACCLUDEd.

dont know why the years are shown that way, but it will fit. before they start you will give them the app and they will custom make one to fit.

think of a stamp collector and taking 4 papertowel rolls, bunching them together and wrapping a bigger tube around them. the merge collector is when they clean up the inside to make all the primaries flow better into one. for a street app such as your, the stamp is good enough... unless you want to spend the money. personally, i would save and go with a hytech, but thats just me.

save and go with hytech? isnt the hytech header price comparable to that of a SMSP? which is upwards of a grand. the prospeed, after everything i would want with it, would be around $700 to $800. let me know if my pricing for hytech and SMSP are correct. but, i know a guy with a h22'd lude that paid $1200 for his SMSP. gained alot of horseys out of it but, thats a lot of grip.

yea the prospeed will end up being around 800, but last time i checked the hytech was 1090 shipped. so youre spending 200 more, but if youre going to do it once, do it right. sms is great too, but that is even more than the hytech
