Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Too much porting?

Ok, so a while ago there was that intake manifold porting thread. I have tons of time on my hands so I though I'd give it a shot. I like... most of it. The bottom of the manifold is great, knife edges all the way to the top and each section has been expanded to their maximum. I removed the center spacer and will run the top portion only. I took out the dividers that separate cylinder 1 from 2, 2 from 3, and 3 from 4. I basically made the inside a giant rectangle.

Hears my question / problem. I took off a lot. and by a lot I mean so much I got to the inner ducting on the top part of the manifold. In 3 different places I have breached the inner tubes. Now then, I'm planning on running block off plates on my EGR ,Air boost, IACV, and FITV. Are these ducts still important or can I just fill them in with JB Weld and sand them flush?

I know I am capable of filling them in, but can I do it without cutting off necessary air to the motor?
Been a long time. Still alive...
