Okay. First off, I hope this is the right forum to post this in. Now, time to get down to the questions...
As some of you may know, I'm planning on building my '92 LX's F22. But, the first step in doing that would be to have a plan of attack. The reason for this post would be to get some feedback and ideas on what kind of plan would be best for me at this point.
So far, here is the situation: I own a '92, four door automatic ( I know, it's sad...
) Accord LX. The mods I've done so far include the following:
1. Keept the stock air intake tube but replaced the filter box with a cone style filter. This includes removing all of the stock plastic filter box and air chambers ( the plastic in the fender wells exc. ...).
2. Had a new exhaust from the flex pipe back made for my ride. They installed a new flex pipe, cut out the stock converter ( now no converter...) and installed a used ( but still in good shape...) muffeler, oval shaped with a round four inch tip, and new pipe to connect it all. I think they used 2.25 inch pipe. The pipe was bent with a pipe bender, but not mandrel bent.
3. I installed a Mallory in line adjustable fule pressure regulator, and a homeade on the fule rail guage to monitor fule psi. What I mean by "in line" is this regulator is installed after the stock regulator, in the fule return line. The stock regulator now runs wide open. I know this sounds bad, but an A.S.E. certified tech I work with ( same guy I bought the regulator from...) assures me this is okay, and not bad.
Other than a set of Montegi sixteen inch MR7 rims with Kumho tires, the 5% window tint, custom cut up factory bumper cover with racing mesh installed, APC clear corner lenses, CRX clear bumper lenses and other assorted "looks" orianted mods, this is it, so far.
Based on that knowladge, what would be the best plan for me to follow now? I'm thinking the next thing to do would be a set of headers. But then what? Any and all feedback would be most helpful.
P.S.: The F22 has 191000 some odd miles on it, and far as I know has never had any internal work done to it, other than replacing the oil pan gasket, and of corse regular oil changes. (Every 3000 miles since I've owned it...)

First you say to take out the inner fender plastic, then you say leave it...
Around here, the most common Honda car is the Civic, followed by the Accura Integra. Everyone is swapping for the DOHC 1.8 Integra engine in their civics, or building DOHC 1.6 engines. We do have a couple of Nissan 240 SX, and one or two Mitsubishi 3000 GT, a few Toyota Celica's, and some Altima's and Sentra's. Also one or maybe two Mazda RX8's as well as S2000's. I don't expect to run with the RX8's or S2000's or even the 3000 GT's, yet... But it would be nice to roll up beside some decked-out DOHC 1.8's, have them laugh at my little "family" car, then run off and leave them in a cloud of exhaust fumes!
