Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Ordered A New Header!

Hey guy's I hope this isn't the wrong section to post this but I'm a little happy and excited so I thought I'd share.
I know some of you may think Wooo Big Whop! But I'm still "modding" my car and being a teen. But anyways I seen that a lot of people use the Ebay header so I thought that they're pretty reliable so I ordered one to make the bay look better and gain a whole 1-2 horses!
So I just ordered mine about 10 minutes ago, This is the one I ordered.

I'll post pics as soon as it gets here like I did with my strut bar.

BTW once again I'm sorry if I shouldn't have posted it here but I will update with pics as soon as it come.

Mine was about the same price, it melted down the gasket between the top and bottom halves after a while (I put on on on Earth Day back in 08. So like a year and a half). I put some of the highest temp RTV on it though since I wasn't sure where to get a new gasket.

Btw, where do you get new exhaust gaskets? And who makes good ones?

Buy an OEM gasket set off ebay/taspro/honda
The OEM exhaust header gasket will last you forever (Assuming you don't unbolt it again ofcourse)
Much better quality than the piece of silver cardboard that comes with the ebay headers..

Btw the OEM gasket set cost me $60 to my door.. And it has EVERYTHING!
                VC Seals (Plug seals too)
                Head gasket
                Intake and exhaust ports.. Etc
                Built & Boosted.

But I like the really GOOD gaskets. Like Bisi's intake manifold gasket

I paid like 45 bucks for my ebay header and I've never had any problems, it didn't turn all nice and heat colored like i was expecting, but no cracks, no leaks and I ran it for a year.

For all the people having issues with the gaskets, would you guys pay if I made gaskets for these? One that you wouldn't have any issue with in the future? I'm making one for mine and could do more if people would pay for it.
