Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Would installing one of these do me any good? I have a 91 ex with the f22a4 motor. Currently the only thing i've done is added a short ram intake. Future plans include a cat back and possible high-flow cat converter. I also plan on doing the header shortly after, but have read since the EX came with a 4-1, I would moslty only gain a little weight loss and better looks...is that true? Would modifying the a/f mixture help me gain a few ponies or is the hassle of install/tuning/price not even worth the time. All advice is appreciated.

Use will need bigger fuel injector like DSM 450cc to use the S-AFC hack( accord stock is 240cc). Unless you have a built up engine (rod, piston, camshalf..) or Turbo your waisting money on the S-AFC, it cost about $300 and are a pain to tune. You have to go to a shop with a wide band Dyno to get it tune. and it has to be re-tune when you install new part like bigger fuel pump, fuel presure regulator....

If you have the money you can buy it and set it to monitor mode. it will display digital or analog of Thottle %, RPM, airflow, battery voltage. Then when you built up your engine or Turbo then you can get it tune correctly, if it set wrong you get check engine light, car will feel slower and is not responsive, worst low gas millage.

cat back and header are easy bolt on power so u should do that next.

        For F22A stock engine..
        I would recommend turbo timer..
Why? After turning off your engine..
turbo timer let the engine run for 30sec to 1min
        to cool down the engine..

        Good for your car!!

If you only have an intake then I'd hold off until you had more mods... you can probably pick up some mild gains w/ the SAFC on any car w/ some dyno tuning time...but basically the more mods you have before getting the SAFC the more power you will pick up from tuning the a/f...

Oh and the EX came with a tubular 4-2-1 manifold...not 4-1...most aftermarket headers will give you a few hp more than the EX tubular manifold...but it's up to you... it will become a bottleneck if you go beyond the basic bolt on stage...
