Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

yeah, u send a stock TB, make sure u have 2 because i think there not emission legal, but u send it off and it cost 150 plus how much it takes to ship off, like 3-5bux. they ship it back for free. i sent it off and they got it on a monday, they sent it out on a wednesday...took 3 days just about (cause off holiday) to get here

so it took them 2 days to bore

just wondering cuz i got a H23 TB that has 60mm I.D. for $50 w/shipping from junkyard and for another $100 I got a H23 intake manifold , have the F22a6 lower half. For another $75 I can have the intake manifold ported. Of course this would all benefit even better with cylinder headwork.

If ur going larger TB, there is no point unless u open up the whole intake system right? don't want any bottlenecks or it's pointless..

I'd like to see some dyno figures on this part. I wouldn't be as worried about bottlenecks as I would be about sacrificing intake air velocity and the subsequent loss of low and mid-range torque. Not to imply that this particular throttle is overly large, it may very well be sized perfectly to increase flow with a minimal velocity decrease, but it is not uncommon to see an overly large throttle body bore on a given engine (a 70 mil throttle body on a stock B18b for example).

I have the same TB... any tq loss was almost non existant and unnoticeable. The mid/upper rpm gains are by far worth it and very noticeable...When I installed it I only had the full slew of bolt-ons and not the delta cam but it did seem to be a bottleneck even w/ the stock cam...

I still have my old stock TB... I should put it on and see if there's any difference...

and anyone who puts a 70mm TB on a stock B18 is just plain retarded...

yeah, i had the same set up before i blew my head (which was p&p street/strip by gude) plus other mods but i didnt have the TB

now i have a mild p&p job on my head and the tb (with other mods i had) and my cars way faster then it was at first.

the throttle response is nice, nolonger drags thru rmp. i shift and it goes................

trust me, its a noticable gain

i have a g-tech meter and my 0-60mph time used to be in the 10's
                      now i run a best at 7.7, average 8's
and i think it has a lot to do with the TB.

if the TB u haves not stock and is bigger, u will notice a nice gain/difference

Wow dyno at 128, what year accord do you have? is it lx or ex?
5speed right . wow with just i/h/e, cam and hi flow cat that some
impressive dyno HP for an f22a

My friend stock 92 EX 5speed dyno at only 108HP, his automatic 93 EX only at 105HP. so i guess with intake add 3hp, header add 4hp, exhuast add 3hp, cat add 4hp and cam add 6HP. Not bad for a few bolt on for an 20HP increase at the wheels.

make my car look bad when it still was stock, F22a4 automatic dyno at 98HP, engine rated at 130H, dame lost 32HP due to the dame slushbox.
