Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    help please!!!

alright guys, i'm in the process of boosting my accord, and i'm so close to finishing i can taste it. here's my dilemma.

i took my chipped p06 ecu, and burned midniteracerx's lastest version of his accord turbo basemap onto it.

took the car for a little drive, and it will hardly idle. not only that, but the mother fucker just dies if i don't keep it. it wasn't in boost, but i could hear the turbo spooling. its fucking got my stumped, and i need to get this car back on the road.

any help is greatly appreciated. sorry if this is in the wrong forum. oh yeah, and here's my setup.

    t3 60 trim .60/.48
    open turbo, no downpipe yet
    dsm 450's
    chipped p06 ecu
    cca front mount ic
    blitz OG BOV
    homemade charge pipes

    no downpipe=no back pressure?

why would i need backpressure when i want the turbine to spool faster.

      no backpressure= faster spool

i thought backpressure is bad for turbo b/c it will cause the turbine to either slow down or try the reverse spin causeing a breakdown...... fill me in if im wrong.... -justin-

sounds like something isnt hooked up right...is there any check engine light? check the soldering and connections on the ECU. but before all of that try to adjust the idle by the screw on the throttle body. Then check the injectors and make sure they are clicking

sounds like your running really rich. can you smell a lot of fuel?

i have a CEL for no O2 sensor. the esu is fine, i've been running it with the 450's for almost a month now N/A

also, i'm pretty sure that my alternator is shot, because my car won't hold a charge for anything.

i'll try adjusting the idle after i put in the new alternator.

and you are correct, backpressure is bad for turbo.

Since your the only one that ran my map n/a...does power seem somewhat equal to the stock ecu? I think i asked that b4...i can't remember

Anyways could it possibly be the 02 CEL? I remember when i was getting something of the sort (on the stock ecu) and my car couldn't hold an idle either. It forced me to learn to heel-toe tho lol. Let us know

i ran your map N/A, but i had to scale down the fuel quite a bit, i have the .bin saved, i can post it up if you want me too.

it ran great with my full exhaust
