Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Build begins

    Finally started tear down for my mild build. Toned down what I wanted to do just due to my wants out weighed my walet. Also givin me a chance to go through my motor for the first time. So far it's ok but saw some things I didn't care for. Need to save up some more money to get cam, ecu, tb, and tune. That and tubing for a header and exh.

    Plans:
    -port head and mani
    -h23 upper with stock tb
    -272 delta with stock springs(it's an A6 so hopefully it'll be good, if not please tell me)
    -custom shorty header with 2.5 collec.

    It's mainly just a top end build, don't really want to mess with the bottom end at the time. Trying to keep it pretty cheap, which so far it has considering I got some stuff free. Any guidence will be welcomed, it is my first build so to speak.

    Good luck with it! I'm planning on doing the same kind of build this summer, but I'll be using a Bisimoto cam, cam gear, and valve springs. Also putting in either a p12 or p06 ECU and probably gonna use a full header. I've also heard things about putting an H22 plenum in and running a 66mm throttle body. Keep us posted on everything!
