Meh, it has dual runners and everything but truthfully if you're doing serious mods the starting point is irrelevant, unless you start with a F22B DOHC...in any case the difference between the A1 and A6 are probably so numerous that for that extra "15HP" you'd be better off getting an EX or again sending your cam in for a regrind.

IMO, if you really wanna go all motor, or if you want more than just more noise, ALL you have to get is this:
-H22 crank
-10.4-11.5:1 rods/pistons w/longest rods & shortest pistons possible
-Reground cam for higher RPM power
-Chipped ECU with higher redline

Seriously, that costs the same as a turbo kit and will prob. in all honesty make 150-160whp. For even better results I think the same combo of parts would work with an F22B, esp. with cam gears and serious dyno time. There's not one single part (OK besides maybe a turbo) that will make your car significantly faster.

Does the f22a1, f22a4 and f22a6 all have different cams or all the same? i wanted to do a regrind on my f22a4 but to lower down time i was thinking of getting another cam from and f22a1 or a6. its all the same right?

ok i think i asked my question wrong. ok i am wondering... is all the f22a1, a4 and a6 cams interchangable or do they only fit in their designated engines?

i can't be too sure but when i got my cam regrind, i bought one off ebay for $50 but it didn't specify what engine it came out of. i'm guessing its the same but i could be wrong. btw, the cam is running perfectly in my engine with no crazy idle.
