Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    which engine mount to use?

I have a turbo F22 and the rear engine mount is the automatic version with vacuum. (I did a manual swap in the past and I kept the auto rear engine mount cause I do not had the manual engine mount in my possession.)

with the turbo setup and civic ECU I don't think this vacuum engine mount work anymore and I want to swap the engine mount for the manual version.

so i'm wondering which mount to choose between the #3 and #5 on this picture:

Also, the hole pattern of these 2 mount do not seem to be the same. is the differents holes patterns are already done on the sub frame?

Also I want to fill the mounts with polyurethane.
I already have the front mount filled with windshield urethane. I want to prevent the engine moving under acceleration but i don't want too much vibration because it's a daily driver.

Is filling all the mounts will cause too much vibration or is it better to just fill only the front and the rear mounts?

    thanks

#5 is the manual mount, but you also need the rear mount to engine part # 12.
try to locate these at a junkyard.
I have all 4 engine mounts filled with window weld and I just get a slight vibration at idle.

You trying to put a manual rear engine mount, still retaining the automatic tranny??

If so, look into ESP Motor Mounts.
