Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    h22a/a4 head differences

I just finished building my h22a4, Including swapping in a set of jdm h22 pistons for a bump in compression.. I was also told that the combustion chamber on the a4 head is lower to the deck? any one have physical proof of this? My motor is all put together and running now so im not gonna tear it apart to compare to my jdm head. Im trying to see what my ending compression ratio is.. if the heads ARE different that will change the end result. The pistons are definately different (which i knew) vv usdm a4 in front, jdm in back

so does anyone have proof of different sized combustion chambers?

You could check the helms manuals specifications section, i believe you may find what your looking for if you take the measurements from the jdm and compare the data to the manual. If i found this thread sooner i would of gladly would of done the measurements. I to am building a h22a4 while simultaneously working on a h22a, but there put together. Hope that helps
