From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

guys i would tell ya if i knew :shrugs:...maybe try copying and pasting the fuel and ign. map on the stock p06 bin??? I've never gotten that code myself and have no idea how to fix it. Does it run the car abnormally at all?

Lets think about this logically, the fuel system consists of the fuel pump, fpr, fuel rail, injectors, main relay, and injector harness. The only things that would have changed during the swap would have been the fuel rail, fpr, 450cc injectors, and the injector harness. Do either of u have fuel pressure gauges? that could tell us alot about whats happening. The code could be triggered by low fuel pressure maybe? The ecu could possibly be looking for somethin that isn't on the f22b's fuel system?

Ok, and u also said once u restart the car the code is gone...jump the connector again b4 the CEL comes on maybe the code there and just not showing up immediately.

P.S. Glad to hear u switched back to uber RENR...if ur in miami u should really think about meeting up with bustedlx he might be able to figure it all out and get u well tuned.

You need to disable "Cloosed Loop" in uberdata in order to get rid of the code. 43 is either a fuel supply system problem or an O2 sensor problem. It's more then likely an O2 sensor problem. Honestly you should not be running on a boosted car with cloosed loop enable anyway... You don't want the ECU try to set 14.7 afr while you are at partial throttle 4 psi of boost for example.

Disable the O2 heater and cloosed loop so the ECU will run only your maps and the code will go away.

thats true...but iamanonymous is on uber 1.66 (not sure of RENR) and it doesn't have a closed loop disable. But it does have the 02 heater. Uber 1.7 has the closed loop disable. Its odd that they are both throwing the code when I should be the one throwing it as many times as i've completely fouled out spark plugs...my 02sensor should be shot to hell.

No you are misunderstanding how the o2 sensor functions. The o2 sensor doesn't show rich or lean and the computer make the adjustment, The ECU counts how many times the o2 switches between lean to rich in a specified time period and then calculates the appropriate mixture. If there is an abnormally long time period between switches the ECU will trip the CEL (43) normally code 1 is reserved for an actuall defective sensor.

Each car is unique even if identically equipped. I would go threw the troubleshooting flow guide but I would be money on the cloosed loop disable solving the problem.

what if we lean out the fuel mixture? can anyone give me a link to uber 1.7? can't find it. can someone make me a basemap for uber 1.7? midnite....i would appreciate anything you can do for me. if u could i would like the idle (20 hg) leaned out slightly as well. lemme know. i do know btw that if u program for 1.66 the map wont work on 1.7....well, im pretty sure anyway.
