Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Monza PaceSetter

I am currently under going a study of different catbacks and headers for my CB7. I am mainly focused on Monza PaceSetter as of right now, I would like to know how good are they? I have also looked at Greddy,Tsunami, Borla, HKS, etc.... you know the heavy hitters. Oh yea, along with a CAI whats the best or should I construct my own CAI. I willing to blow away at least 450-500 I calculated Monza and I could get a header and catback for that price range. Any information will be helpful, Thanks.

Yeah, I was in the same boat as you. I was thinking about getting the Monza exhaust system, but heard bad reviews.. Such as bad sounding and paint chipping. Not to sure about the headers though. I think there was a discussion somewhere on this board about them though.

To me the header looks like it has the same cheap paint and probably poor construction. Save your money and get an EX header.

For the price of a DC header you might see 1 or 2 more hp. Hardly worth the cost over an EX one.

So which header and exhaust set up?

So what is the best header and exhaust combination on the market, oh yea I do have a 91 Ex so should I skip out on the header and just get an exhaust? Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

i have a dc header 4-2-1 ceramic with a downpipe and seems to work well..i had it all professionally installed with the port and polish and etc....sounds nice and looks good, i have AEM cold air intake, which is pretty nice.. but i've heard that the metal tubing isnt very good cause it conducts heat and therefore kind of disableing the cold air affect...but anyways..im going with a dc header, ractive exhaust and hiflow cat...only cause i dont have that much cash...good luck

the ONLY reason id get one is to pass emissions with it sine it has a CARB number and everything, after that, id throw it away or save it for the next smog test.
