    Apexi air filter

If you have a cold air or short ram intake, can you adapt the Apexi filter to it? Will it just bolt right on with a standard clamp? I dont know much about the Apex intakes for hondas but i do know that the Apexi filters are the best for performance and filtering. Any info about these filters would be nice. Thanks

Another representative from the great state of Washington...sweet! Lots of people use that filter so I'm sure U shouldn't have too much trouble getting it to fit. If its 3" on 3" you're fine bro. But yes, u can adapt them.

The results of this test are whats so special about the Apexi air filter. 1 hp is nothing to really brag about, that would be so unnoticable. Apexi out filtered some of the top names in the industry...hope that enlightens u a bit.

With the apexi, I think you need the adapter like I have made by apexi for it to work. I just got this setup and IMO, this thing rocks!! I've had several other intakes and I dont know what it is, but definitely alot more torque from this one. This has been the only intake that I really noticed a huge difference. On top of that, it sounds awesome!

...just my .02, a filter is a filter, the hp gains aren't worth the extra dough. Get something like a regrind or some headwork for some decent gains. Those apex'i filters go for close to 100 dollars from the sites i've seen. not worth it, unless you have an unlimited budget, than who gives a shit. lol.

I have the A'PEXi filter on both my cars and I love it...difference between this filter and the other filters is that this is actually a dry element filter that doesn't need to be pre-oiled for filtering. Some say that pre-oiled filters are actually worse because you suck in all kinds of oily crap along with the crap that usually gets sucked in. In all honesty, I got it cuz I had an apexi exhaust at the time and wanted it all to match but I really enjoy using these filters cuz they're so easy to clean. No cleaning and re-oiling.

Probably have mine up for sale soon once I go to the ARC induction box...

You're right doing it for the minimal hp gain is not important. but a filter is not a filter. They vary greatly. What IS important is they way the filter does it's intended job. I'd say 100 bucks for a filter that keeps your engine internals as dirt free as possible is def. worth it.

Yea the reason i want the Apexi filter is due to the fact that it filters out dirt better then any other filter, while still providing great flow.

Where did you get your setup from? How much was it? Did you have to custom fit anything? Is the setup made for the CB7 or 5th gen accord or prelude? Thanks

How are most K&N filters dry element? All K&N filters are preoiled....

"a filter is a filter" is totally wack bro. check out the link...why would you run an HKS filter after seeing how poorly it filters, especially compared to an Apexi filter. And if an HKS filter, filters that poorly, then how do you expect some cheapo, filter is just a filter, filter to filter. think about it, is cheapin out on a filter worth spending hundreds to fix what your crap filter sucked in...

not trying to be a dick but thats the truth...
