From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Gsport Incap High output Ignition Coil

    I was walking in Autozone and found one for 60 bucks. Has anyone heard or seen or used one before?

    Also, has anyone used or seen one of those clear distributor cap? I cant even find pics of one on the net.

      I just picked them up at autozone as well. A bit of a bitch to put on since the screws for the wires into the coil stripped, so i had to buy a dremel just to take care of that. I wonder if there really is any difference or if it's the fact that i put in a pt6 ecu at the same time? Oh well only time can tell. We'll see how it runs with plat 4s in it .
      No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.

        never heard of them....60 bucks? little expensive i think....even msd coils are cheaper than that and most likely better. i'll have to look into that brand and see whats what!

          Definetly on the pricey side, But i just put in my stock coil again to see if there is a difference and there was. The stock coil sucked ass and my get up and go kinda went so definetly worth the bucks. Found out this stuff is made by Mr GAsket so maybe that will help people look them up online.

            exactly.. i've never heard of Gsport or anyone using their products up until now.
            and plus, why buy performance parts from autozone. i'm sure they're similar to APC products sold nationally throughout Pep Boys
