From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    oil catch can install for second time now funky idle

    My idle is goin crazy well not crazy but its bouncing. I have purchased a oilcatch because i noticed i cleaned out my intake manifold and noticed some nast shit in there so i cleaned it out. I had a oil catch can but never got around to installin it becuase of hard workin hours and whatnot. So I put everything back on to where its supposed to go and took the catch can off . Then it idles fine wtf,so far I had 1 hose hooked up to intake manifold and 1 to the pvc valve. What gives

    you shouldnt route the pcv/catch can system back into the intake manifold with turbo...it has to go from the pcv to the catch can to your turbo intake pipe so you get a vaccum.

    i dont think that would cause your idle to be bad. sounds like there might be a leak somewhere in the system? but if you do it the way i descibed above. you just block the PCV port on the intake manifold, so you wont have to worry about it leaking anyway

            ok, can someone explain how to do the catchcan? im not shure how to install one.. what to run where.. n all that
