Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Hey everyone

hey, I just found this site and its great! Its nice to finally find a forum dedicated to 4th generation.

I have a 92 lx accord, and right now its my daily driver. But once I can afford a new car, the accord is going into the garage and becoming my project.

Ive looked across the web for info on turbo for the F22a1, but found little to no info, before finding this site of course. I was wondering to any of the guys who turboed their accords, did you buy a complete kit or did you fabricate it yourself? If there are complete kits available, where can I find them?

    Thanks for your help guys.

haha yea I know that was a blantently noob move, but I tried a couple searches and it came back with tons of pages...which i am attempting to sort through. I just wanted to know if there were pre-fabricated kits readily available, or if id be looking at custom work. Thanks for replying.

yes there are custom kits available..they are fairly expensive though.

        pros of prefab kits:

        Brand spankin new parts
        looks pretty.
usually a little bit easier to install

        Cons of prefab kits:
        $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
        shitty ass engine management
you dont learn shit during the turbo process.

He used to, but then got a job that ties him up too much to sell them anymore. But you could peice together the kit he made on your own. It's just a bunch of dsm parts and metal piping.

and a chipped ECU for management
and a good size front mount intercooler
and the oil lines you need
                and a predrilled manifold

but no..i stopped doing kits for the time being. to many people are ready to send the mafia after me because i have no time to do it with my new job

thats too bad, your price was extremely reasonable too.

I wasnt aware that dsm turbo parts could be utilized in our cars...thats pretty cool. Thanks for all the replies fellas.
