    feul prob need help asap!

hey guys, i am running into prob after prob with my car lately...so here is my new prob. I just put on a new dizzy to fix the studdering at high rpms in my coupe, and now it is literally drenching my spark plugs in gas. I have an afc for now used for tuning (soon replaced by uber) and it is set to all the way lean at idle (-50 cor %). I started it for like a min and it ran, but didnt sound like it was hitting on all cylinders. so i stopped it, checked the wires and everything, and tried to restart and it wouldnt fire. I pulled a plug and it was really wet with gasoline. I have a 255lph pump with 450cc injectors, could the gap of the plugs just be too big to arc? please give me any input u have!

450cc lol what other mods u got??????????....450 is wicked high if not turboed or NOS or something. i think the most the stock ecu can accomodate is 310cc and that is on hondata site and another ecu site. i would say go back to stock injectors

thanks excoupe, yes i am boosted, but i am just starting it and letting it idle = no boost. I just bought uberdata chip burner and an ecu so hopefully i can get it fixed...

You Safc settings may be too high. Try to work with those again. Also check your SAFC connections to the injector plugs.

are you sure u installed that thing correctly? Cause it seems like your running into a bunch of wire related problems that may center around the AFC. You grounded the brown wire before the black wire, right? And the Input wire and output wires are seperating the MAP signal wire, right?

yea i have it installed correctly and i have been using it without a problem for about a year. I did however just install a 255lph pump w/o an aftermarket regulator (using stock), could this also be a problem?

I cant seem to think of anything else besides a loose connection with your VAFC. Maybe your problem is igniton related???

could be, maybe i have too large a gap, or the stock internal coil *had to get another one, and if i convert it to external it voids warentee* isnt producing enough spark for it...

so really the afc hack could be where i am running into probs. before i got the new dizzy i have now, she would start up nice and run good, still running rich (about 10.5 A/F at idle) and that was as lean as i could get it. This was also when i converted the dizzy i had to external coil...so maybe that has something to do with it. Another diff me and u have is u are running uber, and i am getting uber, and i think that willdef help fix my rich fuel prob bc of greater ability to tune it and lean it out a bit~

ok so an update~ got another new dizzy today, converted to external coil thinking the bigger coil would allow for a stronger spark, and not something fuel could so easily drown out, but it still wouldnt run. So i am pretty much waiting for uber and i think that will help me a great deal~

i also have a multiple spark ignition for my car, which i tested today and prob will be installing tomarrow afternoon to make more chance for the spark to ignite the fuel...

MIDNIGHT are you running 450cc injectors on your car?
